SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR FALL 2025 AND WINTER/SPRING 2026!
The Rev. Archibald Mosley Ph.D. and Jerolene Thomas Mosley Book Scholarship is a one-time non-renewable scholarship in a maximum amount of $500 per recipient each semester for students who are pursuing a higher education or a post graduate program. Up to two scholarships may be awarded each academic semester. The Book Scholarship was created to assist students with the high cost of textbooks. Scholarship money is available for books only.
ELIGIBILITY: The Book Scholarship is awarded to first-time applicants who are members of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and plan to pursue a vocational/technical certification or license, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or any postgraduate degree.
DEADLINE:
o Fall: Application must be submitted or postmarked by 11:59 pm EST, August 1, 2025 for the upcoming fall semester.
o Spring: Application must be submitted or postmarked by 11:59 pm EST, December 1, 2025 for the winter/spring semester.

The Jerolene T. Mosley Early-Childhood Education Scholarship is a one-time non-renewable scholarship in a maximum amount of $5,000 per recipient each academic year for a child attending preschool. The Education Scholarship was created to reduce barriers preventing children from achieving long-term academic success and to foster in a child natural intellectual curiosity and creativity.
ELIGIBILITY: The Education Scholarship is awarded to a preschool aged child from a culturally or ethnically underrepresented or disadvantaged background. Consideration may be given to a child whose family demonstrates financial need and inability to access high-quality early childhood education. The child must attend a preschool program in Jackson County or Williamson County, Illinois; Davidson County, Tennessee; or Wayne County, Michigan.
DEADLINE: Application must be submitted or postmarked by 11:59 pm EST, August 1, 2025 for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
